JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / QUALIFICATIONS

Service Technician

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency in accordance with dealership expectations with a positive attitude
• Complete vehicle inspection, focusing on any other work done, sending a MPI video every time to the service advisor for the customer
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Communicate with parts and the Service Director as needed to get items accomplished timely
• Focus on continual growth and learning within the manufacturer supplied training for the brand
• Previous experience at an automotive dealership, preferably Mazda
• Strong understanding of the service drive customer experience expectation
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer competencies, comfortable with multiple systems running at once
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to work M-F 7:15am-6pm and Saturdays 8am-2:30pm

PAY RANGE : $15.00-$72.50 per Flat Rate Hour - paid Semi-Monthly
