Bodhi Montessori is a home-based Montessori preschool. This role is ideal for professional looking for an opportunity in an amazing environment, or a current student approaching licensing, and looking to start their career at a growing facility.

We are looking for a full-time provider, but may be open to a part-time structure for the right candidates. We are looking for a full time and a substitute role. Please mention your interest.

Qualifications:

Passion and patience to work with small children, strong verbal and communication skills, solid understanding of childhood development and appropriate practices willing to work with children ages 2 to 6years with a maximum of 12 children.

Assistant teacher responsibilities

• Assist the administrator with providing the children with a “prepared environment”.
• Prepare classroom activities and curriculum according to the administrator’s direction
• Keep the classroom clean and inviting
• Assist with individual and/or group activities to stimulate growth of the children in social, emotional and academic areas.
• Supervise classroom as directed by the administrator
• Assist in the supervision of the playground and lunchtime.
• Assist during snack time and in keeping the classroom clean
• Keeping children hygienic and clean

Prerequisite:

• Fingerprints clearance
• Medical and TB clearance

· US work authorization

Job requirements:

• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Montessori knowledge (Prefered) will to learn
• 1 year Early Childhood Education Experience
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
