Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual who will be responsible for selling and leasing Hyster-Yale industrial equipment, including forklifts and material handling solutions. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their operational efficiency. The Sales Representative will work closely with the sales team and report directly to the Sales Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with current and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of Hyster-Yale products to prospective customers.
- Use business directories, leads from existing clients, and industry events to find new business opportunities.
- Identify and reach out to potential clients for rental equipment, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Offer detailed product information and technical support to help clients make informed decisions.
- Draft and submit sales contracts, leasing agreements, and quotes.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets set by Bohl management.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and market opportunities.
- Represent Bohl at Trade Association meetings as needed.
- Authority to stop production in the event due to poor quality, unsafe parts or conditions appear.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment rental, sales, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of equipment, including technical specifications and operational requirements.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing inventory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Ideally the selected candidate will live near near Lima or Findlay and will service the following Ohio counties: Hancock, Allen, Paulding, Putnam and Van Wert.
