Swift & Sons is seeking to fill the position of a Beverage Receiver. This candidate will work in a fast-paced, exciting environment with always something to do. We have high expectations but the experience is unlike any other in the city. Compensation will be based on experience and what you bring to the team.
A receiver's job is to receive, inspect, and store goods in the proper location. They may also be responsible for simple maintenance and handy-man duties assigned to you by the FOH Managers including the Wine Director & Bar Manager.

Here are some of the responsibilities of a Beverage Receiver:
- Receive goods: Monitor delivery schedules and accept goods when they arrive.
- Inspect goods: Verify that the goods match the purchase order and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Store goods: Unpack, code, and route goods to the appropriate storage area.
- Manage inventory: Update inventory records and participate in inventory audits.
- Maintain records: Keep accurate records and paperwork.
- Communicate: Report issues to the Wine Director or Bar Manager
- Operate equipment: Use a hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- Process returns: Process all returns to vendor items and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean work area: Keep the work area clean and neat.
