Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work with both hand and power tools. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes.
Duties
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, including drip and sprinkler systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
- Perform repairs on malfunctioning equipment and components.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules are followed.
- Dig trenches for irrigation lines as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to existing landscapes.
- Provide recommendations for efficient irrigation practices that promote healthy lawn care and garden growth.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including digging and lifting.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.50 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- No nights
