Press Break Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of presses, ensuring high-quality production standards are met. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping presses and CNC machines to produce sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Assemble and program machinery as needed for production runs.
• Utilize hand tools and micrometers to measure and verify dimensions of finished products.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
• Safely operate cranes for material handling within the production area.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating stamping presses and CNC machinery.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawings.
• Experience with micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
• Familiarity with assembling machinery components and programming equipment.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with crane operation is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: $21.02 - $22.25 per hour
