Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated, responsible, and team-oriented individual to fill the role of Wildlife Technician Apprentice within our growing team. This position entails managing and servicing territories within and around Kalamazoo, specializing in the humane handling, prevention, and elimination of nuisance wildlife. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
As a Wildlife Technician Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on training in humane wildlife control and exclusion techniques. This role involves inspections, wildlife removals, and basic repairs. Perfect for problem-solvers who enjoy working outdoors!
Key Responsibilities
- Safely remove nuisance wildlife like raccoons, squirrels, and bats.
- Cross training in pest control
- Conduct property inspections and identify entry points.
- Learn and apply exclusion techniques, including sealing and repairs.
- Work on rooftops, ladders, and in crawlspaces.
- Provide excellent customer service and educate clients on prevention.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Comfortable using basic tools (preferred).
- Able to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
