Pay: Base Commission
Position Summary: To present the company to potential commercial customers and to qualify opportunities thereby obtaining commercial service agreement sales that are competitive and profitable. Accountable for all sales activities and customer relationships between the company and commercial clients.
Primary Job Duties:
- Identify prospects in the industrial, data center, government, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, property mgmt. markets.
- Effectively develop and communicate professional sales proposals to clients.
- Identify prospects in the industrial, data center, government, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, property mgmt. markets.
- Maintain reporting of leads, in-progress active prospects and sales forecast. Weekly update of sales call planning, upcoming schedules and customer follow up
- Contribute to the development of products/services and marketing strategies through creative packaging of company capabilities.
- Increase and maintain profitable sales by working with customers to identify and satisfy customer needs and hurts through the appropriate application of a sales process.
- Proactively target and establish relationships with prospects and vendor allies to meet sales objectives retain customers and position the company as the sole source provider of choice for their electrical services.
- Establish working relationships to address customer needs and hurts and discuss sales strategy within the company in the areas of marketing, technical support and operations.
- Provide feedback to the appropriate manager regarding market penetration, profitable revenue opportunities and customer issues.
- Develop and drive winning customer action plans to successful closure to meet company sales objectives.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of company's products and services, competition; customer's needs, requirements and business issues; industry trends.
- Prepare complete, clear, and concise reports, proposals, booking packages, and required company paperwork in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned for accomplishing the revenue plan and sales objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years successful track record in sales
- Candidates will be required to pass a background check upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
- Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
- Excellent communication skills: written and verbal
- Understanding of NEC, FFPA 70B, NFPA 70E and OSHA requirements.
- Proven ability to manage and communicate large amounts of information.
- Have a sufficient understanding of electrical systems to accurately appraise and inventory system components, evaluate general conditions, and recommend the best maintenance program.
- Recognize Designed Electrical Services opportunities and pass leads to appropriate personnel.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required
