What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster position at Border Area Adjustment, Inc.?
Border Area Adjustment (BAA) is looking for full time adjusters to join our team. You will learn the ins and outs of adjusting to prepare you to assist our insurance client's policyholders after accidents or other property disasters. We will equip you with all the tools you'll need to be successful. Our claims adjusters provide outstanding customer service on a daily basis by going the distance for our client's policyholders.
Qualifications:
- Having property & casualty insurance experience is a plus
- Experience in carpentry and/or Auto Body is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, additional college education or degree would be a plus
- Ability to pass a state licensing exam and obtain IA license
- Must have a clean record
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be detailed and organized in your work
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel and typing
- Must be open to ND/MN travel
