ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Possess a good understanding of property layout. Supply guests with information they need to be able to enjoy their stay.
2. Any other reasonable requests from Front Desk, PBX, Hotel Managers and/or Front Desk Supervisor.
3. Daily bag pulls, luggage pick up and drop of guest bags.
4. Ensure all luggage is correctly labeled and stored.
5. Keep bellman room clean, neat and organized at all times.
6. Assist valet with guest and luggage pick up and drop off.
7. Clean lobby and entrance doors (including snow removal).
8. Maintain neat, clean appearance.
9. Keep work area neat and clean (including front desk).
10. Keep pool area clean. Restock towels regularly.
11. Maintain housekeeping supplies for the front desk area.
12. Assist guest with luggage to their rooms .

Pandemic Era Responsibilities

& ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Valet are required to monitor and screen all arriving hotel and casino guests for COVID-19 symptoms (or any stated pandemic) from a handheld device, mobile device, tablet, walk thru, etc…
2. Valet during any pandemic era must wear a face mask and utilize the proper safety and personal protective equipment / gear before meeting with in person and handling guests property (If and when eligible to do so)
3. Valet are required to complete health screenings and temperature checks before guest vehicles are even considered eligible for valet parking (If and when eligible to do so)
4. Valet must not handle guest’s property or enter a guest vehicle until a health screening has been completed and guests are symptom free.
5. Valet must complete health screenings on guests before checking out wheel chairs (If & when eligible to do so)

EDUCATION:  High School diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE: Customer service experience helpful

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:  Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:   Strength to move up to 50lbs at a time. Must be able to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours and maneuver in the casino. Visual acuity to observe and react to handle customer complaints or questions. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to bend, kneel, twist and stretch/reach above head. Have good dexterity in fingers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace.  Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS:   Must possess excellent communication skills. Ticket writing skills, work outside, exposed to the elements in a hot or cold environment, temperature in excess of 100 degrees or below 32 degrees. .
