Our client, a growing real estate development firm, is seeking a highly motivated Building Manager to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of their industrial properties. This role will support the Facilities Manager in ensuring building systems are operating effectively, addressing tenant needs, and maintaining the integrity of assigned buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of all assigned industrial facilities, ensuring optimal functionality of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire / life safety, etc.).
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs, and service requests from tenants, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, equipment, and grounds to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance plans.
- Manage vendor relationships, including service contracts, work orders, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and local building codes.
- Support budgeting and expense tracking for facility operations and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, work orders, and tenant service requests.
- Assist with emergency response planning and execution in coordination with property management and security teams.
