What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Administrator position at Boston IVF?

The Practice Manager oversees and supports clinical, administrative, and business operations of a fertility practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Works in conjunction with local interdisciplinary leadership as well as centralized business functions, the Practice Manager ensures that the highest standards for patient care are met and that the Boston IVF mission statement is realized through the following elements:
- Direct oversight of clinical nursing, surgical, and clerical staff, inclusive of hiring, training, performance management, and workforce planning
- Responsible for supply procurement and inventory management within budget
- Develops and mentors staff; delegates appropriately
- Investigates and resolves patient concerns, staff complaints and/or process variations
- Ensures compliance with policies & procedures
- Develops and rolls out new work flows and processes as needed
- Liaises with local interdisciplinary leadership, including embryology, phlebotomy, imaging, and financial services
- Collaborates with other department leadership, including marketing, human resources, risk management, etc.
- Communicates clearly and effectively to all relevant parties
- Maintains an “open door” policy and is available to all staff, and works to promote a cohesive and productive environment
- Interacts in a positive and sensitive manner with patients and their families to resolve issues, and conveys this attitude to all staff members
- Able to adapt, innovate, and lead through change in order to meet operational and clinic needs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree required; bachelor’s degree in related agree preferred.
Minimum 2 years management
