The IED (Institute of Economic Development) Program Coordinator works alongside internationally renowned faculty and a diverse graduate student body to support economics research and education at Boston University. This role maintains and updates the departmental website and other communications, as well as provides logistical support for weekly seminars and workshops, student-led leadership events, and alumni leadership councils. Additionally, the Program Coordinator assists the IED manager in planning and executing graduate (MA and PhD) student special events, preparing and posting department seminar schedules, and sending weekly reminders to faculty. Furthermore, the Program Coordinator creates, maintains, and updates the alumni database, as well as serves as the liaison between the master's and PhD alumni leadership and the department. This position also provides secretarial support for 12 assigned faculty and works within IED to support both the masters and PhD programs for BU Economics.
