Bowser Automotive in Chippewa is seeking an Accounting Clerk with Deal Poster experience. The Deal Poster will maintain a positive working relationship with customers, employees, and vendors while maintaining a high level of confidentiality in all organizational matters.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Utilize ADP accounting software as well as Microsoft office software to perform accounting functions and create spreadsheets, graphs, and other correspondence.
- Maintain cash receipts and posting of receipts
- Post and ensure accuracy of electronic file transfers
- Oversee vendor accounts including, but not limited to, payments and credits to maintain accuracy of accounts.
- Maintain incentive program
- Generate and maintain appropriate reports and spreadsheets
- File and maintain records for required period of time.
- Responsible for office supply orders and business cards
- Pick up and deliver mail
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
- Accounting degree or equivalent experience
- Strong mathematical ability
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Prior experience in accounting software; experience in ADP software a plus
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Driving record in good standing
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for up to 8 hours/day
- Ability to work with computers for up to 8 hours/day
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
