Security Guard – 2nd shift Wed-Sat nights

As we continue to grow, so does our demand for hardworking, dependable people to join our team. We are currently seeking a Security Guard to join our team.
The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the security of people and/or property. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, assisting clients, customers, and visitors to and on site, enforcing site regulations, reporting safety hazards and prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, assisting with traffic control, etc.
Mandatory overtime occasionally to include earlier start time, later end time, and/or weekends.
Essential Functions:
Patrols building interior / exterior and surrounding property
Protects property and staff by maintaining safe and secure surroundings
Monitor and control access at building entrances and admits appropriate personnel and/or guests
Conducts investigations and prepares accurate and complete written reports
Responds to all emergency situations
Maintains confidentiality of security information
Ensures security of company assets
Monitors surveillance equipment
Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a security officer required
Must hold proper license based on state/local regulations
Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lbs.
Requires frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs
Physical Demands:
This position involves constant moving and standing.
Involves standing/walking a minimum of two consecutive hours.
Involves lifting to 40 lbs.
May occasionally be involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
May involve reaching above eye level.
