Reports To: Culinary Operations Director
Job Summary:
The Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan is seeking a responsible and dedicated Culinary Administrative Assistant to join our culinary team. The main responsibilities will include supporting the culinary team with various administrative duties. The ideal candidate must follow instructions well, have strong organizational skills, follow all health and safety rules and be productive in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audits and quality checks to make sure clubs meet the CACFP & SFSP standards. Includes site reviews and proof reading /reviewing binder documentation for accuracy.
- Ensure completion of meal & snack daily documents.
- Verify and compare accuracy of data input of daily meal count using excel.
- Verify that the meal count against daily attendance records.
- Verify for signatures on every Production Record, which also requires the number of meals delivered daily per club.
- Verify all meal count sheets are following CACFP & SFSP guidelines.
- Supports/reviews food & snack inventory numbers per club.
- Oversee, maintain, and create binders for documenting Milk Inventory.
- Assist with maintaining recipes and formulations binder.
- Research potential food grants and present to the team as a resource for additional revenue.
- Participate in special programs, events, and training as assigned.
- Supports communication between staff and all clubs. (emails etc.)
- Provides support for Culinary Team as needed in areas.
- Performs other duties as requested.
