Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Operator Trainee to join our dynamic team. In this entry-level position, you will receive hands-on training in operating various machinery and equipment essential for our production processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in manufacturing, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Follows guidance and directions from Casestamper Operator Trainer:
- Operate and monitor machinery such as case stamping machines under supervision of trainer.
- Interpret work orders and comprehend all instructions for die positioning layouts from die folders.
- Set up and operate machines in an approved and safe manner.
- Monitor the operation and output of the machine to ensure quality & production standards are met.
- Accurately reports production and clearly identifies case pallets with skid tickets.
- Performs all job functions in accordance with JWI, and SOP standards
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Collaborate with experienced operators to improve skills and understanding of production workflows.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols.
- Retrieve foils from material control and convert roll to necessary running size with minimal waste.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Basic understanding of machining processes and tools; experience with Case Stamping machinery is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn technical skills related to manufacturing operations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
