Diagnose and Repair Vehicles: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and methods to identify vehicle issues accurately and perform high-quality repairs on various makes and models.
Conduct Routine Maintenance: Perform standard services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and battery replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly.
Communicate with Service Advisors: Provide clear and accurate repair recommendations and estimates to Service Advisors to help customers make informed decisions.
Ensure High-Quality Standards: Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently while meeting our high standards for quality and safety.
Maintain Cleanliness and Safety in the Workspace: Keep your workspace organized and adhere to safety regulations to create a professional and safe environment for everyone.
Stay Updated on Technical Knowledge: Participate in ongoing paid training to stay current with automotive technology and best practices.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Mechanic or Service Technician, ideally in a dealership or busy service center environment.
Certifications: ASE Certification preferred but not required. We encourage all mechanics to pursue ASE certifications and offer support in obtaining them.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in using diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and dealership software. Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, electrical, heating/cooling, and more.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy vehicle components (up to 50 lbs), work in varying positions, and stand for extended periods.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues effectively and efficiently.
Customer Service Skills: Clear and professional communication skills to explain repairs and maintenance needs to Service Advisors.
