Cafe Attendant

The Bradley Home is seeking Part-Time caring, compassionate, and dynamic staff looking for an opportunity to have a direct and positive impact on the lives of our residents in a home-like environment.

As a Cafe Attendant, you are responsible for: 

• Food and drink preparation: Prepare and serve food and drinks, including coffee, espresso, and tea 
• Customer service: Greet customers, serve residents, and provide excellent customer service 
• Cleaning: Clean tables, and service areas, and ensure the cafe is safe and hygienic 
• Stocking: Ensure the cafe is fully stocked and replenish condiments 
• Cash handling: Process any credit/cash transactions, and submit them daily to the business office manager at the close of the shift
• Inventory: Participate in setting up the cafe, arrange inventory, and notify a supervisor of shortages.

Ideal part-time hours for a parent with school-age children.  Hours would be 12-18 per week per employee.  We will be looking for 2 candidates to share this position. 

Mon-Fri hours are 7:30 am-1:30 pm. (can be flexible).

Job Requirements:

• The ability to deal professionally with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Be able to stand on your feet for up to 3 hours
• Able to read and understand English, and follow directions.
