Entry Level Lifestyle Coach

Bilingual Entry Level Lifestyle Coach needed in Wilkes, Surry, & Yadkin county....$22 an hour!!!!

Duties include:

• Encouraging group or individual participation and interaction using open-ended questions and facilitating commitment to activities for effective lifestyle change.
• Motivating participants and creating a friendly environment for group discussion and interactive learning, whether in-person or virtually.
• Preparing for each class by reviewing the lesson plan and class content, reviewing data, making reminder calls or sending text messages to participants, and reviewing participants’ food and activity trackers.
• Collaborating with the Program Coordinator and others involved in data preparation to regularly monitor participant progress and address any issues to improve participant outcomes.
• Following up with participants outside of class if they were unable to attend a session that week (during months 1-6) or month (during months 7-12) to offer a make-up session.
• Supporting and encouraging goal setting and problem-solving.
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing participant privacy and data security (e.g., the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act [HIPAA]).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
