About The Team
The Buyer Experiences Team helps buyers navigate our client's vast global marketplace. They build features to encourage their buyers to return to shop for everything from their evergreen interests to items that complement their current shopping mission. They craft top notch buyer experiences by testing new ways to help buyers confidently make a purchase and engage more with them over time, while improving their topline company health metrics via iterative experimentation and programs to reward buyer loyalty.
The cross-functional team has 10 people on it, and is made up of Product Management, Product Design, Data Analytics, User Research, and Engineering. Our client will look to you to share your deep knowledge of native app and web design and UX patterns, and bring a tried and tested set of processes to design solutions to a range of customer problems to introduce 89 million active buyers to the breadth and depth of our client’s global marketplace.
About The Role
You will set design strategy and priorities on your team to evolve the experience to increase conversion rate and grow buyers’ visit and purchase frequency in their web and native iOS and Android apps. You’ll also collaborate with designers across product teams to help unify the work to ensure it aligns with their overall vision.
