● Experience fetching data from different data sources like database events, spreadsheets, etc., and using JavaScript and NodeJS to build code blocks to
deliver this data to Active Campaign via its API
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
● Proven experience with Active Campaign automation
Project completion will be based on successful testing of all email automation flows (including codeblocks).
What you’ll be working on
Our client is looking for an expert/senior Software Developer with a strong backend development background in JavaScript and NodeJS to help us complete their email automation flows.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing detailed automations/notifications, setting up contact fields, and triggers based on tags by fetching data from different data sources like database events, spreadsheets, and others, and then using JavaScript and NodeJS to build code blocks to deliver this data to email automation platform via its API.
They will be responsible for reviewing existing logical flows designed to send out automated emails based on different action triggers and ensuring the consistency and quality of email delivery.
The candidate will work in conjunction with their team to achieve their automation objectives and troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the development stage of the automation flows.
Project scope involves 33 - 35 email templates, all in various stages of the development process.
Responsibilities:
● Create and manage email automation flows by fetching data from various data sources and using JavaScript and NodeJS to build code blocks to deliver this data to email campiagn platform via its API
● Set up contact fields and triggers based on tags using backend services and databases events (where required)
● Review (and complete where necessary) the logical flows to send out automated emails based on different action triggers
● Ensure consistency and quality of email delivery by monitoring automation flows
● Work in conjunction with their team to achieve automation objectives
● Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during the development stage of the automation flows
