Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Identify and prioritize high-value prospects within target industries or markets.
  • Build a pipeline of qualified leads through outbound efforts, referrals, and inbound opportunities. Partner with marketing to refine lead generation strategies and campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospects, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. Act as a trusted advisor, aligning Coast App’s solutions to customer needs and challenges.
  • Collect and relay feedback from customers to the product and engineering teams to improve the platform. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer success, to ensure a unified approach to growth.
  • Position Coast App as a unique solution in the no-code development and frontline workforce space. Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer pain points.
  • Track and manage sales activities, pipeline health, and deal progress using CRM tools. Report on sales performance, providing insights into revenue forecasts and sales challenges.
  • Represent Coast App at industry events, webinars, and conferences to build brand awareness. Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the value of the platform to potential customers and stakeholders.
  • Help shape the culture and structure of the sales team by mentoring future hires. Share best practices and contribute to the development of playbooks and sales materials. Provide insights to inform hiring decisions as the company scales its sales efforts.
  • Ensure successful handoffs to customer success teams for onboarding and long-term account growth. Drive meaningful conversations with prospects to uncover and solve critical business needs.
  • Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, wearing multiple hats as needed in a startup environment. Play a direct role in shaping Coast App’s future, influencing everything from strategy to execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within a SaaS or technology-focused company Experience with full-cycle sales, including prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Familiarity with selling to senior decision-makers (e.g., CMOs, Marketing Directors) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking leads, managing pipelines, and reporting. Strong understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger Sales, or similar frameworks).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively presenting solutions and negotiating. Demonstrated ability to articulate the value proposition of a product or service clearly.
  • Previous experience working in a startup or early-stage company is highly desirable. Entrepreneurial spirit with a self-starter attitude and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • A strong customer-centric mindset, with the ability to understand and address client pain points. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences while aligning solutions to business needs.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics, advertising technology, or related fields is preferred. Understanding of challenges and opportunities faced by marketing teams and decision-makers.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple prospects and tasks. Resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to succeed in a dynamic environment.
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate across teams, including product, marketing, and leadership. Willingness to contribute to the development of sales processes, playbooks, and best practices.
  • Experience closing six-figure deals or managing complex sales cycles. Previous success in founder-led sales environments or working directly with company founders.
