What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Bravas?
Job Overview
Bravas/Brocks is seeking a Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, but willing to train the right person.
Hours: Flexible, Full-Time and Part-time available.
Monday-Saturday 8am and close. Occasional Sundays required for team meetings.
Pay: $15-20 per hour DOE.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Open availability preferred, but willing to work with most schedules.
- At least 19 years old.
- Food Safety Handler's Card preferred.
