Description
- Provides residents with tray cards at service time.
- Receives resident menu selections from residents or nursing staff at meal service time.
- Serves food in a neat and attractive manner, according to the selection of the resident.
- Adheres to portion control standards.
- Follows safety and sanitation guidelines established for Food Service.
- Maintains clean and orderly work areas.
- Serves food from steam table to nursing staff in the Health Care Center dining rooms and to the residents in the Assisted Living dining room.
- Delivers/collects room trays to/from nursing staff or Assisted Living residents, as requested.
- Requests special items from the main kitchen for Heath Care Center and Assisted Living residents and occasionally retrieves them from the kitchen.
- Resets the Health Care Center and Assisted Living dining room tables after the previous meal has completed.
- Source, monitor, evaluate and provide direction to direct report, as needed. Provide professional growth and development; develop and communicate goals and objectives. Monitor and provide constructive feedback.
- Respond to questions from facility personnel accurately and timely.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Answer phones, take messages, and respond to requests timely.
- Maintain compliance with all BPHI policies, procedures and requirements. Maintain compliance with all federal and state laws. Maintain compliance with all agency regulatory guidelines and requirements.
- Assist, guide and support supervisors with employee selection, review, evaluation and terminations.
- Attend and participate in trainings and staff meetings as required.
- Develop emerging leadership through professional growth and development.
- Responsible for supporting and representing BPHI at special events, activities and other assigned functions.
- Work successfully as a part of a team and responsible for developing then maintaining strong working relationships with co-workers.
- Perform general office tasks as required.
- Perform special assignments, projects, and other duties as required.
