Description

 
  1. Provides residents with tray cards at service time.
  2. Receives resident menu selections from residents or nursing staff at meal service time.
  3. Serves food in a neat and attractive manner, according to the selection of the resident.
  4. Adheres to portion control standards.
  5. Follows safety and sanitation guidelines established for Food Service.
  6. Maintains clean and orderly work areas.
  7. Serves food from steam table to nursing staff in the Health Care Center dining rooms and to the residents in the Assisted Living dining room.
  8. Delivers/collects room trays to/from nursing staff or Assisted Living residents, as requested.
  9. Requests special items from the main kitchen for Heath Care Center and Assisted Living residents and occasionally retrieves them from the kitchen.
  10. Resets the Health Care Center and Assisted Living dining room tables after the previous meal has completed.
  11. Source, monitor, evaluate and provide direction to direct report, as needed. Provide professional growth and development; develop and communicate goals and objectives. Monitor and provide constructive feedback.
  12. Respond to questions from facility personnel accurately and timely.
  13. Complete accurate and timely documentation.
  14. Answer phones, take messages, and respond to requests timely.
  15. Maintain compliance with all BPHI policies, procedures and requirements. Maintain compliance with all federal and state laws. Maintain compliance with all agency regulatory guidelines and requirements.
  16. Assist, guide and support supervisors with employee selection, review, evaluation and terminations.
  17. Attend and participate in trainings and staff meetings as required.
  18. Develop emerging leadership through professional growth and development.
  19. Responsible for supporting and representing BPHI at special events, activities and other assigned functions.
  20. Work successfully as a part of a team and responsible for developing then maintaining strong working relationships with co-workers.
  21. Perform general office tasks as required.
  22. Perform special assignments, projects, and other duties as required.

Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under BPHI’s insurance policy. Must be at least age 21 to drive on behalf of the Company.
  16. Requires job holder to work nights and weekends as requested.
  17. Requires the ability to grasp, push, pull, carry and otherwise manipulate objects; ability to perform tasks requiring action of muscles or groups or muscles and foot and/or eye-hand coordination.
  18. Requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds continuously to move objects.
  19. Requires ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
  20. Requires sufficient good health to properly discharge duties. Employees shall not be permitted to work who have infectious disease or skin lesion for the duration of the communicability.
