Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
