Warehouse Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to order fulfillment and materials handling. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Perform order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare dollys for next day jobs and help load on technicians trucks in the morning and afternoons prior.
• Build and prepare pallets for shipment, ensuring proper stacking and securing of materials.
• Utilize various tools and resources to track inventory levels and manage stock movements within the warehouse.
• Operate various equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts safely and effectively.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with restocking as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and address any issues that may arise during the process.

Skills

• Proficiency in order picking and fulfillment processes.
• Familiarity with AS400 systems for inventory management is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues when necessary.
• Experience operating cherry pickers, reach trucks, or similar materials handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy warehouse setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
