Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Patient Procedures:
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and more.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready.
- Hand instruments to the dentist and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure proper positioning and image quality.
- Patient Care & Education:
- Prepare and review patient medical history and provide information on upcoming treatments.
- Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after procedures.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and preventive measures.
- Sterilization & Infection Control:
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment by properly sterilizing dental instruments and equipment.
