Overview
We rely on and trust our General Ledger Accountant to be responsible for maintaining general ledger account balances and to ensure timely and accurate financial/regulatory reporting through analysis/review of the P&L and Balance Sheet in accordance with established policies and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison between staff and Managerial level
- Trains professional and support level staff
- Provides direction and oversight in analyzing general ledger account balances (P&L and Balance Sheet) and approving/ posting journal entries
- Prepares, analyzes and reviews financial statement accounts, budget variances and unusual trends
- Maintains, reconciles and reviews general ledger work papers and third party statements
- Assist management with preparation of annual financial audit and annual cost reports
- A full job description, including all responsibilities and physical requirements will be provided during the interview process upon request
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree majoring in accounting, finance or management with minimum thirty (30) hours of accounting
- Minimum three (3) years Accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
