Junior Business Systems Analyst

Ta Chen International, Inc. ("TCI" or "the Company"), a leading master distributor of stainless and aluminum coils, sheets, plates, long products, tubes and PVFs, is looking to add a Junior Business Systems Analyst to our team. You would be responsible for identifying business problems, improving process efficiency, and formulating requirements. You would be collaborating with internal development team, documenting procedures and interacting with users.

Responsibilities 

·        Work with different business units to finalize and draft business requirements

·        Translate the business requirements for programmers

·        Act as liaison between IT and business operation units

·        Map business process and document workflow

·        Complete incidents and enhancement requests and keep users up-to-date on status 

·        Conduct testing on software released to eliminate bugs and gather feedback

·        Train and mentor business users and other users as necessary

Qualifications  

·        Bachelor's degree or above

·        Ideally 2 years professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst or related function

·        Knowledge of business process flow mapping

·        Capability to execute complex assignments and projects independently 

·        Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail

·        Ability to articulate design concepts and solutions verbally and in written documentation 

·        Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group from technical experts to business users to executives 

·        Must be able to work well in fast-paced, dynamic environment 

·        Proficiency working in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pluses:

·        ERP experience

·        Knowledge of running SQL query
