What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Finisher position at Brighton Cabinetry?
Brighton Cabinetry is looking to add to our team! We are a cabinet manufacturer. We have 4x10's, 1st shift only, paid employee health insurance, 3 guaranteed pay increases within your first year, we have 1 week of vacation after 6 months, and the ability to grow with a fast-growing company.
Brighton Cabinetry is looking for a full time Finisher/Sander in our Paint department. The hours will be Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-4:30pm with overtime. We are looking for someone who preferably has some finishing experience. Some of the duties for this job include:
1)Spray, or hand-rub finishing ingredients, such as paint, stain, onto and into wood grain; then apply lacquer or other sealers.
2)Fill and smooth cracks or depressions, remove marks and imperfections, and repair broken parts, using plastic or wood putty, glue, nails, and/or screws.
3)Mix finish ingredients to obtain desired colors or shades.
4)Remove excess solvent, using cloths soaked in paint thinner.
5)Smooth, shape, and touch-up surfaces to prepare them for finishing, using sandpaper or sanders
