BRIGHTON HEALTH PLAN SOLUTIONS, LLC is Hiring a Benefits Coordinator Near New York, NY

About the Role

MagnaCare is seeking a responsible, strong, self-motivated individual with a Medical Claims Benefits background, able to coordinate and perform a variety of tasks to support the Benefits Team. Individual will be responsible for projects which include a wide range of administrative functions. The candidate should have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Work, Outlook, Teams) and excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Working directly with Benefits Team to assist with department and client-related tasks.
  • Assist in updating our internal client benefits documents.
  • Assisting in Salesforce tracking and reporting on all open benefit changes / updates.
  • Working with Benefits Team to maintain data integrity in Salesforce system.
  • Interface directly with Sales and Account Management team to assist with client implementations and onboarding tasks as needed (documentation / information requests and follow-up).
  • Assisting in coordinating internal meetings, taking notes, and sending out follow-up reports / notes as needed.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Knowledge of self-funded benefits and claims processing and medical coding a plus.

Essential Qualifications

  • College Graduate or 5 years' work experience.
  • 1-3 years benefits work experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
  • Knowledge of Self-insured benefits a plus.
  • Self-insured claims experience a plus.
