Quality Technician - 2nd shift

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our Quality Team for consumer-packaged goods in our 2nd shift (start time 11am) . This entry level position will play a vital role in ensuring that all products meet our rigorous quality standards. This position will involve performing a variety of quality control tests, inspections, and documentation tasks throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and a desire to learn and grow within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Inspection and Testing :
• Perform visual inspections of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct basic testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Utilize analytical instruments and methodologies accurately and efficiently.
• Operate and maintain basic laboratory equipment.
• Documentation :
• Accurately record all inspection and test results in designated logs and databases.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date quality control records.
• Assist in the preparation of batch records and other quality-related documentation.
• Quality Systems :
• Identify and report any deviations from quality standards to the Quality Manager or Supervisor.
• Assist in the investigation of non-conformances and deviations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
• Other :
• Assist other departments as needed, including production and packaging.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
