Broad River Retail is currently seeking for a Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our Safety & Facilities Management Team. This position is responsible for helping control loss of product in the warehouse by being present each day during loadout and assists with maintenance repair awareness. They will also help aid in maintaining safety measures are being adhered to in the warehouse.
DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER:
· Be present during nightly loadout in the warehouse to maintain control of damage and loss of product
· Watch video for any safety or loss of product on the warehouse floor to determine cause and next steps
· Assist Operations team in conflict management when product is damaged or missing
· Assist Asset Protection Manager with maintaining safety controls in warehouse
· Assist Asset Protection Manager in executing monthly safety meetings with Operations Teams
· Assist Asset Protection Manager with facility and maintenance needs
· Assist Asset Protection manager with Monthly fire pump test
· Performs all other duties as assigned by the Asset Protection Manager
· Maintain building and grounds cleanlines
Qualifications
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
· High School Diploma or GED
· 2 or more years of experience in retail, loss prevention, security, military, or law enforcement
· Understanding of basic office applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Ability to navigate security camera systems (CCTV)
· Spanish speaking is a plus
· Able to be flexible with hours as nightly work loads change.
WORKPLACE ENVIROMENT:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is:
· Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch on concrete flooring
· Must be able to routinely lift or move objects up to 75 pounds alone and team lift objects over 75 pounds
· Wear the proper PPE when handling chemicals
· Working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday
