Job Title: Lead AEM Engineer Consultant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Lead AEM Engineer Consultant to join our team on a remote, long-term contract with Dollar General. The role requires expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), with experience in ecommerce and retail environments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with identity providers and familiar with authentication and authorization flows, offering both technical leadership and hands-on development skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Development:
- Design and architect AEM components and templates to meet client requirements.
- Develop custom AEM components, services, and workflows.
- Integrate AEM with other systems and third-party services.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Lead code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with the architecture team to define the technical roadmap and architecture.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Conduct unit testing and support QA in creating test plans.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:
- 5 years in web development with a focus on AEM.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing AEM solutions, with a strong understanding of AEM architecture, including JCR, Sling, and OSGi.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM.
- Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
