Broadband Hospitality, a leading hospitality interactive application development and technology services provider, has an immediate opportunity for a Monthly Billing Specialist.
Job Description:
This position will allow you to work with our accounting department and will be responsible for conducting all monthly recurring billing. The candidate must have a strong background in accounting and a minimum of 5 years of working experience.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of billing, including compliance with billing and collections best practices and procedures
- Generates monthly recurring service invoices
- Maintains the database of contracted monthly billing
- Reconciliation of accounts receivable aging on a weekly and monthly basis
- Processing, application, and maintenance of client payments
- New Client/Account contract review and billing
- Communicate with clients regarding billing questions
- Provides records of billing, payments, and billing adjustments
- Preparing and reviewing various monthly reports
- Research various accounting issues
- Assist Accounting management with special projects
Qualifications:
- Knows commonly-used accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven flexibility, initiative, and self-reliance
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and systems
Education and Experience
- Great Plains Billing experience a plus, Salesforce experience preferred
- 0-5 years of cumulative experience including general accounting, account reconciliation, journal entries, fixed assets, and report generation
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience a plus
