Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate efficiently through designated routes.

Duties

• Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to customers.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Assist with moving items within the warehouse as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience with loading and unloading goods safely.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) as required.
