ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position requires hands-on Network Administration of an all HP network and proficiency in Active Directory.
- Responsible for all hardware and software installations and upgrades, including the configuration and management of virtual and physical servers.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining network security including firewall administration, malware/virus protection, and backup and recovery.
- Responsible for troubleshooting all network issues regarding distributed software systems, cabling, topology, printer support, etc.
- Requires some programming using Microsoft/MySQL and PHP scripting, VBA scripting and complex Excel formulas.
- Responsible for building and maintaining vendor relationships and evaluating hardware and software products for purchase.
- Manages a budget and complies with departmental policies and procedures for purchasing supplies, equipment and services.
- Manages IT Department staff to provide efficient support to the business. Includes delegation of responsibilities, scheduling, hiring, training, performance management, etc.,
- Maintains current state-of-the-art knowledge of relevant computer hardware and software products and services including all applications on the network operating system and industry standards and trends. Identifies the need for upgrades and/or improvements and creates proposals for upper management as appropriate.
- Manages overall IT operations to provide the highest level of services to casino guests and to enhance the performance of all staff members.
- Required Technologies include VMware, Microsoft Excel, WiFi, Active Directory and Network Administration.
- Performs all responsibilities in compliance with various federal and state regulations and in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and Colorado Limited Gaming regulations, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, and all internal policies and procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is preferred, or the equivalent in education and experience. Five (5) or more years of recent and related management information systems experience, including two (2) years of managerial experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY: Makes recommendations which may positively or negatively impact the operations of other departments. Position may perform beyond the scope of essential duties.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Key Gaming License. Relevant network certifications such as Cisco CCNA or CCNP, Network , HPE ASE, etc., are strongly preferred.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Demonstrated technical and troubleshooting abilities. Experience with the following is preferred: Konami's SYNKROS Casino Management System, InfoGenesis Point of Sale System, Veeam backup and replication, Carbon Black malware/virus protection, Microsoft Office Support, GSuite and/or Windows Server support. Must have knowledge of SOX and SEC regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve sitting while completing paperwork or using a computer. Duties involve kneeling, squatting, bending, walking, crouching, and stooping in order to locate, replace, repair, or service computer hardware and software. Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store, or move general office supplies, computer supplies, and equipment. Essential duties involve a standard workweek with additional hours occasionally required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$90,000 bases on experience
