Brosnan Risk Consultants is hiring Security Officers immediately!

Brosnan Risk Consultants is seeking experienced Security Officer's with Osha 30, SST and Flagger in the NYC area. We are looking to fill multiple positions. Pay rate $18 p/h Benefits.

Security Officer must have NYS Guard License, Osha 30, SST and Flagger.

The shift hours: 6am-2pm

Full time postion days: Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Saturday

Job despriction: Direct all pedestrians to use the opposite side of the street. Aid with traffic to ensure the pedestrian cross the street safely.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have an OSHA 30 
• Must have F01 OR S60 Fire Guard License
• Must posses a valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must have minimum 1 year of experience in security
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must project a professional appearance

Preferred Qualifications:Law enforcement or military experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Summary of responsibilities:

• Act as a crime deterrent while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
• Notify supervisors and on-site staff of any irregularities, suspicious activities, security breaches and/or safety hazards
• Conduct standardized reports that are prompt, professional and accurate relative to incident.
• Maintain daily records of events for the day.
• Must embody and promote company values while operating as a highly visible deterrent on site.
• Perform various job related duties as assigned.
