Security / Scaler
General Description
Guards industrial or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry. EMT qualification preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
. High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within particular field.
. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.
. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

- Patrols, periodically, buildings and grounds of work site.
- Receive and weigh all inbound and outbound loads.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Vision adequate to perform all required tasks.
- Ability to work over 6 feet above the ground; must not be afraid of heights.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those of which an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Employee will be required to wear personal protective equipment as needed to perform job tasks.
- Employee is regularly exposed to noise, dust, and varying types of smells
- Employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, elevated work areas, and outside weather conditions.
- Employee is expected to work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean work area.
Work Schedule
The work schedule is a standard DuPont Shift. Note: At times, additional work hours & schedules will exist at the request of the client to meet specific work schedules support Maintenance, Capital, and Production work activities.
