About the Diesel Truck Technician Position
The schedule of the Second Shift Diesel Truck Technician is Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM. There can be some flexibility with the schedule listed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Preventative maintenance (using modern diagnostic instruments and equipment),
- Troubleshooting repairing and/or rebuilding diesel engines and systems, and
- Reading and interpreting vehicle manuals and schematic diagrams.
- Obtaining a Class "7" Pennsylvania inspection license and a CDL-A license within the first year of employment
Qualified candidates will have:
- Mechanical/electrical/hydraulic aptitude
- The ability to read and interpret diagnostic equipment
- An understanding of the metric system as well as US system of measurements.
- The ability to explain problems and solutions found during analysis, and
- At least one year of experience in a similar environment.
