Senior Site Supervisor
Location: Southwest or Central Nebraska
The Senior Project Manager will assist Operations Manager with project management for multiple projects for both civil construction and municipal utility. May fill in for Project Managers occasionally. Travel to projects is required , travel per diem is paid and a vehicle is furnished. Requirements:
Knowledge of Surveying such as layout and computing quantity
Ability to read and interrupt plans correctly including Material Quantity for takeoffs, breakdowns, estimations, orders, verifications and submittals
Complete narrative for submittals
Communicate with owners and engineers
Be a problem solver.
Knowledge of Earthwork, Concrete, and Utility Work.
Evaluate construction projects to determine compliance with plans.
Direct construction personnel to correctly follow plans.
Must have some knowledge to direct construction positions: flagger, laborer, concrete finisher, pipe layer, equipment operator, supervisor and/or foreman.
Ability to work independently and productively without constant direct supervision.
Ability to work well as a team and accept and give direction as needed.
Work 50-55 hours a week and occasionally more.
Equipment operation a plus to be able to train and help employees.
Valid driver's license with good driving record required. CDL preferred.
