Buck Mason is Hiring an Allocation Specialist Near Los Angeles, CA

Buck Mason is on the hunt for an experienced Allocation Specialist with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our Planning and Allocation team. If you love the puzzle that comes with getting the right product in the right place to ensure a superb customer experience, then read on!

As the principal allocator, you will play an integral role in building the organization’s capabilities and maximizing growth and profitability through strategic optimization across all channels. You will collaborate cross functionally with Retail, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Ecommerce and Operations in order to create, execute and maintain seasonal inventory strategies.

What You’ll Do:

·Analyze sales and inventory trends by store location and specs to develop SKU-level allocation plans.

·Develop allocation processes that allow us to act quickly and smoothly with inventory placement.

·Contribute to the development of seasonal launch calendars that align with brand strategies.

·Monitor customer nuances by location to provide recommendations on new product placement.

·Act as the point person to our retail stores on all inventory related questions.

·Partner with Planning and Merchandising in developing a tiered door structure for core and seasonal SKUs.

·Work with your cross functional partners on SKU end-of-life consolidation strategies.

Who You Are:

·3-5 year of experience in retail allocation. Preferably in apparel, but not required.

·Loves working in Excel and creating a masterful Excel tool. (You’ve probably watched at least one YouTube Excel tutorial).

·Welcomes the challenge of learning a new software/BI Tool.

·Sees problems as an opportunity to find creative solutions and improve processes.

·Interpersonal Skills! You will be the main inventory contact for a couple dozen managers. (And we mentioned cross-functional partners, right?)

·Attention to Detail are not just words on your CV.

·Confident in making recommendations because you’ve done the research to back them up.
