Position Summary
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, disciplined to work independently, and focused on outstanding professional customer service. There will be regular interaction with franchisees, store personnel, and vendors about inventory ordering decisions and other needs relating to purchasing.
Principal Responsibilities
- Edit purchase orders as needed including any deviations from the original PO
- Create manual orders for vendors that are not in the online catalog
- Maintain reports around open purchase orders
- Assist with special projects and serves as an additional resource for team support in the completion of duties
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Strong communication Skills
- Team player who is courteous, reliable, and professional
- Beginner to Intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Office, especially in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proficient customer service and problem resolution skills
- High level of organizational and time-management skills
Education and Experience
- 1 year prior experience in purchasing or customer service preferred
- Minimum of a High School Degree or Equivalent, some college or degree preferred
General Physical Requirements
The position routinely requires prolonged sitting and keyboarding
