Job Summary: As an Assistant Solar Site Assessor/Service Technician, you will work closely with experienced assessors and technicians to evaluate potential solar installation sites, conduct technical assessments, and support maintenance services. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Site Assessments: Assist in evaluating potential solar installation sites by measuring roof angles, assessing shading issues, and gathering electrical infrastructure data. - Technical Support: Help prepare reports and documentation related to site assessments, including measurements and system requirements.
- Maintenance Tasks: Participate in routine inspections and maintenance of solar systems to ensure optimal performance including commissioning.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to explain assessment findings and answer questions regarding solar technology.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical knowledge and skills related to solar technology and installation practices.
- Some Travel is required.
Qualifications:
- Electrical training is required
- Basic knowledge of solar energy systems or energy basics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically engage in tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
