POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an IT Developer Intern to join our team of seasoned IT and Insurance professionals. This is an ideal opportunity for someone majoring in Risk Management or Computer Science, Information Technology to gain practical experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work with a small team of Development experts and professionals to analyze system problems and needs, program system fixes to existing applications, and develop future programs to automate business processes in both cloud environments and local system applications.
- Use Microsoft .Net, C#, MS Visual Studio, TFS, SQL, BootStrap, Java, to support various legacy applications.
- Assist in the development of future cloud-based applications in a Guidewire Insurance Suite hosted environment, supporting xCenters, Digital platforms, and various APIs & Integrations.

Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Major in Insurance & Risk Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related Technology degrees.
- Experience with AWS, APIs, .Net, ASP, Jutro, SQL, JIRA, and other common IT tools.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, LICENSES, ETC.:
- Familiar with JIRA PMO tool
- Familiar with the SDLC
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
