The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Workshop Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will Report to the workshop manager and oversee daily operations in the workshop, ensuring that maintenance and repair tasks are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality.
Principle Duties
- Supervise and help coordinate the activities of workshop staff, including welders, technicians, and laborers.
- Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Maintain quality control processes to ensure all work meets industry standards and company requirements.
- Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of workshop activities, including maintenance, repairs, inspections, and inventory.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Core Skills/Attributes
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an ISO tank or similar industrial environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of ISO tank maintenance, repair, and inspection processes.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth understanding of safety practices and procedures in a workshop setting.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Dependable and committed to meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
