Main Accountabilities:
- Support the development and monitoring of environmental management activities (e.g., compliance, performance metrics improvements, procedures, guidance, etc.)
- Assist with updating Bunge environmental standards to promote a Best-in-Class environmental compliance program with a focus on eliminating environmental incidents and non-compliance events.
- Coach Bunge personnel on environmental standards and procedure interpretations.
- Participate in conducting environmental training for plant personnel, contractors and visitors.
- Support environmental sustainability.
- Assist with environmental permit applications (e.g., air, waste, water, storm water).
- Participate in environmental audits and inspections at facilities to ensure compliance with internal environmental standards and procedures and regulatory requirements, identify deficiencies and assist in the development of corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or closely related field required
- Prior internship or other environmental experience preferred
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills required
- Good working knowledge of PC applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
