What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cheese Store Team Member position at Burnett Dairy Cooperative?
Burnett Dairy Cooperative is looking for energetic and people-oriented Team Members to work part-time with possible full-time options available at our brand new store opening at 8552 Grand Ave, Duluth MN 55808. The Cheese Store Team supports the operation of the cheese store: rings customer transactions, keeps coolers clean, products stocked, helps in the bistro, ice cream, and delivers outstanding customer service. Must be able to work weekends and as part of a team in an active work environment.
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Stock, organize, and rotate product in cooler and product shelves to ensure it is available and appealing for customers.
- Prepare and serve pizza/ ice cream products per customer request.
- Unload product from truck deliveries
- Price products and label cheese.
- Smile and greet customers, answer questions regarding the product. Consistently display a helpful and positive attitude.
- Clean and maintain store area before, during and at the end of shift.
Job Requirements:
- Availability requirements include; days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and dependable attendance is required
- Ability to function in an active and demanding work environment
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Cash handling experience and ability to make change
Physical requirements/Working conditions:
- Lift up to 50 Pounds; Push/Pull/Stack up to 50 Pounds
- Stand on feet for entire shift
- Repetitive Motion; frequent use of hands
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel and crouch
- Able to work in cold climate
