Burns Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near West, AZ

PT Dental assistant position available in fun, fast growing private practice. General Dentistry, CT, CEREC, 3 shape, iTero, Implants, Surgery, Laser, PRP. Experience is a PLUS, if new don't worry we will train you and provide plenty opportunity for growth!

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 

  • Create a positive and individualized experience for each patient 

  • Build rapport with patients to ensure a memorable smile

  • Schedule patient appointments, accommodating for potential scheduling conflicts

  • Prepare dental materials and equipment for the scheduled treatments 

  • Preparing and presenting treatment plan to patients as needed

  • Maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment inventory, and other ancillary duties

  • Assists with patient management during dental procedures

  • Proactively support team members and pods 

  • Ability to thrive in an environment of change and growth

  • Accountable and coachable to learn

  • Experience successfully maintaining a positive attitude while working in a team environment with competing priorities

  • Ability to engage with patients, providers, and team members building professional relationships

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to be flexible and accept different work assignments within the practice, which may include travel to other locations, with a positive approach

  • Outstanding organization and administrative skills

  • Ability to think individually as well as collaboratively when approaching job responsibilities

  • Demonstrate initiative, dependability, and promptness

  • Ability to exercise confidentiality with patients and patient care

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) (Required))

  • General Dentistry knowledge (Required); CDA Certification (Preferred)

  • X-Ray Certification (Required) 

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

  • Minimum 2yrs of Dental Assistant experience (Preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time 

  • Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs

  • Position may require travel to and from field sites to monitor the status of multiple projects
